MMA at the Partner 2011 Fair

At this year’s arms and military equipment fair called ’Partner 2011’, which is a traditional event that took place under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense in Belgrade from 28th June to 1st August, 2011, the Military Medical Academy (VMA) presented its achievements and accomplishments under the slogan ’Donate an organ – extend a life’.
As an integral part and important segment of the Republic of Serbia’s defense system, VMA has been doing its best to keep up with all the latest trends in development of military technology so that it could provide a timely and professional response to the challenges and a devastating impact that military technology can have on human health.
The VMA’s booth at the Partner 2011 fair was visited by the Republic of Serbia Defense Minister Dragan Šutanovac and his associates. They were welcomed by the Head of the VMA Colonel Prof. Dr Marijan Novaković and members of the Academy’s consillium. On the ocassion, Head of the Military Health Care Division in the Ministry of Defense Brigadier General Veljko Todorović signed an organ donor card and thus got involved in the nation-wide campaign which had been launched with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of organ harvesting as a new form of humanity.
